Espresso 2.5.2 release

We are happy to announce the 2.5.2 version of your favorite workflow management tool. The new version introuduces a wide range of requested features and includes bugfixes for all reported issues.

What's new in 2.5.2?

Client management:

• Client 'language' field for use in templates to define default language
• Client 'tax' field allows for client
• specific tax settings for use in all templated documents
• Client 'second account manager' field containing default Quote owner per customer
• Client 'department' field for use in all templated documents
• Client 'invoice payment terms' field to specify per customer payment terms
• Client 'minimum rate' field
• Persons list can now be ordered by name
• Persons record allows to add salutations for use in all templated documents
• Overview tab includes now ALL open projects and/or last 5 customer projects
• Overview tab allows for much longer project names to improve readibilty

Quoting and project management

• Resource assigment search 'frees' resources involved in completed projects even if the deadline is not yet reached.
• New unit: fixed rate (template update required)
• New unit: minimum rate (template update required)
• Warning if the Quote amount is lower than the minimum rate
• 'Client reference' field in Quotes (template update required)
• Default language combination is now application
• wide and customizable through the settings file

• Improved project search including tags
• Custom quote and project numbering that overrules default settings
• Editable Quote/Project creation date
• A possibility to provide lead time (in days) instead of a deadline. Espresso automatically calculates delivery dates based on the lead time (project duration).
• To do list is extended with the list of not yet assigned tasks.
• Quality feedback for delivered projects (positive, negative etc).
• Ontime/Delay feedback is moved to the Deliver Project page
• Uninvoiced projects are collapsed per default
• Improvements in assignments of single language tasks
• Selectable display of Client name in overviews
• Several bugfixes and changes to improve updateability
• Espresso/Mokka integration (RFQ workflow) improvements

Resources

• Assignments overview displays all currently engaged resources and lists all POs
• Link for automatic Skype dialling in Resource Search results.

Finance

• Resource invoices allows now to change the date and resource reference information
• Resource invoices adds a subtotal for selected invoices
• Resource invioces now displays uncompleted tasks in red

• Editing invoice date
• Custom invoice codes to overrule default settings

Other

• Business unit entity for customized reporting
• Various interface improvements.

The 2.5.2 version will replace the current 2.5.1 at all client installations with valid support contract starting from Ferbuary 1st 2009.
