2.1 Setting up a Company
Monday, April 6, 2009 at 2:19PM Company is a top entity in Espresso 2.5. All users, locations, projects etc belong to a company.
Espresso comes pre-configured during installation but you must set up your company first before you start working.
5.1.1 General information
1. Log in using administrator username and password and click Settings.
2. Start with Company Information and upload your logo:

Field information:
1. Company name (for use in your templates)
2. Chamber of Commerce registration (for use in your templates)
3. VAT number (for use in your templates)
4. Logo. Any JPEG, GIF or PNG file will suffice. Use higer resolution images if you plan to use this image in printed templates.
5.1.2. Authority

This screen allows you to match access rights to certain application parts with user roles.
Espresso is installed with pre-configured Authority settings:
- Vertical columns match installed Espresso modules (Clients, Sales etc)
- Horizontal rows match four user roles: AM (account manager), PM (project manager), RM (resource manager) and FM (finance manager).
Please note: Authority matrix settings are ignored if the user is registered as location administrator.
Please note: Users must logout and login back to activate all changes to Authority Matrix
